Winterizing and Dewinterizing

When encountering freezing temps the RV needs to be heated to prevent freeze damage to the plumbing system. During storage this is not very practical so the system needs to be winterized prior to storage. This entails blowing out the water with compressed air and/or flushing the system with pink RV antifreeze. In the spring the system then needs to be de-winterized. This is all part of a storage procedure and removal from storage procedure that is more involved than just the plumbing. Refer to the following link in the Storage section of the library for more details on these procedures.
